Here is my latest shopping trip at Publix. I was able to save $88.00 according to my Publix receipt. Including sales tax, I spent a total of $35.21. I swear the lady at the checkout was shocked. She was younger and I think maybe annoyed at first at all the coupons but surprised at the amount I had saved. I even bought my hubby 6.25 ounce packages of lifesavers that were buy one get one free for a total of $1.63. In each package is a $1 off coupon making this free and a moneymaker if you go back and buy more. Since my hubby is trying to quit smoking, I imagine I will be back. Here are some pictures of the trip. Don't forget to check out the grocery store near you online. Most stores are online now and many have coupons you can print on their site. A great example is Meijer.com. Click on the link to print a coupon for $5 off a 3.3 pound or larger bag of Purina 1 dog or cat food and many other coupons. Meijer also has the Meijer Mealbox that helps you save with coupons. There is a great site called fatdaddysaves that explains it in detail.
