Whatever your plans, whatever you do, don't forget the true reason we celebrate Independence Day. Our Declaration of Independence is our symbol of freedom. It was drafted by Thomas Jefferson in June of 1776. The Continental Congress approved the document on July 4th, 1776!
So while you enjoy time with family and friends, while you get free food and freebie deals, remember the importance of July 4th. I am thankful that I live in the United States no matter what is going on with the Republicans or Democrats. :-)
