Knockout Rose $6.99 @ Winn-Dixie!

I stopped in our local Port Charlotte, FL Winn-Dixie after church today for some bread to go with our dinner.  While there I found some great deals on clearance.  If you get a chance, hurry over to your local Winn-Dixie and see what you can find.


First off, I found some beautiful Knockout Roses clearanced for $6.99!  If you are not familiar with the Knockout Roses variety, they are the ones that don't need much care and continue to bloom until the first heavy frost.  I had planted some in the front of my house before and they are working out great.  I won't tell you what I paid but I promise it was way more than $6.99!  So check out your local Winn-Dixie and see if you can score a deal on these.  I found them in the front of the store before you enter.


One of the "secrets" of shopping Winn-Dixie is to look in the bakery department for the clearance items.  Today I found (4) packs of the bakery style muffins normally priced at $5.16.  Today they were on sale with your Winn-Dixie card for $3.99.  There was a coupon sticker for another $3 off, making these just $0.99 cents for a (4) pack of these super yummy muffins!  Not a bad deal, when you can get these bakery style muffins for less than a quarter a piece!


You can find cakes on sale and then coupons attached with more savings all the time at Winn-Dixie.  You just have to watch.  I also found mini strawberry cupcakes clearanced for $0.99 cents as well. They normally clearance all the day old donuts as well.  :-)  The key here is to always check out the bakery department and to watch for their extra cents off coupons.
