Veterans and Active Duty Military deserve our respect.  I am so glad that so many companies agree and are offering Freebies to our Veterans.  Here is a list of freebies for our veterans on Veterans Day, November 11th, 2010. 

Sams Club:  FREE Hugo Cane for Veterans in need of the mobility assistance of a cane.  Available at Sams Club on 11/10-11/12. (Sams Club membership is NOT required)

Applebees Veterans & Active Military can eat FREE from a limited menu on Veterans Day. (Simply show proof of military status)

Golden Corral Military Appeciation Dinner.  All Veterans and Active Military can enjoy a free dinner on November 15th.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE  As an expression of Outback Steakhouse's appreciation to our Country's veterans and active duty military*, a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage of choice (one non-alcoholic drink or one draft Anheuser Busch beer except where prohibited by law) will be available at every Outback in the country on Veterans Day.
KNOTT'S BERRY FARM is offering a tribute to past and present U.S. armed forces personnel during Veteran's Month with FREE park admission for them and a guest November 1-26 only. Up to six additional tickets can be purchased for only $15 each. Military ID or DD214 presented with a photo ID required for discount.
CABELA'S Veteran's Day weekend, Cabela's outdoor store is offering their employee discount to all veterans, active duty military and reserves, law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel on Nov. 11 and 12. Dubbed a "Hometown Heroes" event, eligible shoppers will need to check in at a table at the store to receive a coupon for the discount.  Discount varies from 5% to 50%, depending on item, and excludes guns, boats, trailers and safes.

Virginia State Parks  is offering FREE parking for Veterans & Active Military and their families on Veterans Day.
Anheuser-Busch Parks offers Active Duty Service Members FREE admission for them and up to 3 dependents to any of their parks once a year.

***Active duty and veterans of the military should ask for everyday discounts from restaurants and retailers like Lowe’s, Home Depot, Dollar General, Quizno’s, Long John Silver and Sonic.
