I got my ShopAtHome rebate check! You can earn cash back for vacation like I am!

I just started saving all of my rebate money towards vacation and so far I am doing pretty darn good if I say so myself.  I have $144.45 in my account so far.  My goal is $2000 but I have over 10 months to go.  I am really getting motivated.  Vacation has a way of doing that I guess.  I just received my first ShopAtHome rebate check and hubby deposited into our account.  Yipee!  If you are not a member of ShopAtHome, now is the time to check them out.

I think the best part of all is I am not grabbing a credit card and paying for a vacation first and figuring out how to pay it off later.  This is just extra cash.  Plus what a good example for the kids.  I want them to realize that it is worth it to save up for things you want.  I don't want them to get over-extended with credit cards.  That is not what I want to teach them.  Anybody know what I am talking about?
