Winn Dixie deals this week and Publix great sale starts tomorrow!. Great stock up sales!

If you don't have lots of time to shop, think about a quick trip to get the essentials that will save you money. Here is a quick list to get you started for the Winn Dixie sale.


Fresh ground chuck is on sale for $1.99 a pound instead of $3.99 a pound.  This is a great price and perfect time to stock up.  I split up what I bought into 1 pound packages so I have it ready for meals.
 If you have not stocked up on pasta, Muellers' pasta is BOGO this week.

Plumrose sliced ham or turkey is BOGO.
Natures Own Whitewheat bread is BOGO
Boneless sirloin tip roast is $2.99 a pound

Kraft Chunk cheese is BOGO Kraft shredded cheese is 2 for $4


Heads up for tomorrow.  Publix sale by us starts tomorrow.  Here are some great things to stock up on if you don't have lots of time to spend at the store. 


Birds Eye Voila Meal is BOGO.  An average family of 4 will require 2 bags.  At buy one get one free you can feed a family of 4 for less than $5. If you want to add some bread to the meal, it will be a little bit more.  Either way not bad for a fast and easy meal that is still healthy.   This is a great item to stock up.  My favorite is the garlic chicken.  If you have not tried this you are in for a treat.  The entrees have pasta, chicken and fresh/frozen vegetables.  There are other selections like shrimp and ground beef as well.

Gorton's Fish is BOGO in assorted quantities

I have not tried the Tyson Skillet creations that are on sale for $4.99 but they are supposed to be good and normally run $7.99.  Some of the choices are stroganoff with noodles and steak or chicken fajitas.

Another big stock up item is the Birds Eye steamfresh Frozen Vegetables.  Whoever came up with the steamfresh idea, I love you.  It is a great thing.  You simply take the bag right from the freezer into the microwave.  Once it is done, you pour it in to your serving dish and you are set.  Frozen vegetables are fresh and immediately frozen so they are one of the best choices if you can't go to a farmers market every day. Anyway they are 50% off.  I normally stock up for the entire month as they are only on sale every 4-6 weeks. 


Sara Lee Desserts are 50% off so this is a good time to stock up.  Perfect when guests are coming last minute.
