Foreclosures hitting close to home..

Another strange day. This whole foreclosure mess is hitting too close to home. One of my neighbors lost her home last year. That was sad. Driving down the streets around us I see many vacant homes. Not a good sign at all. I sure hope the annointed one knows what he is doing. I have a feeling he does not. I guess we will see. They say that we need to wait and let the stimulus plan do its magic. I don't think there is any magic to this at all. I think it is just costing us all a ton of money. Another friend of mine had worked out a loan modification with Wells Fargo and four months after they had been making the new payment, Wells Fargo asks for a new contract to be signed with greatly increased payments and interest. How they can do this I don't know. All I do know is this is really hurting my friend and it sucks that people are getting treated this way. I mean we are giving Wells Fargo lots of money right? The least they can do is treat people right. What happened to integrity and honesty? Today I was able to get some great deals at Staples. For $16 I got many school supplies courtesy of the $5 coupon off a $20 purchase in Sundays paper. Love those coupons! If you click on staples.com and choose the weekly ad, you can print the $5 off coupon. Sale is only good through Tuesday July 14th. I was able to buy 6 packs of highlighters for $1, staplers for $1 and they have some great pens for $1 as well. Great deals on pencils and copy paper for only 1 cent. Not a bad sale at all. Not sure what laundry detergent you prefer, but boys can be messy. I swear I have tried about every detergent there is trying to get things clean. My best bet has always been tide. Yes, I know it is more expensive but for some reason it always works better. I read an article awhile back, I think it was consumer reports, where they said tide has much more soap in the product. That would make sense I guess. Anyway, I have a really hard time finding coupons for Tide so when I found this one for a free sample of the new Tide stain release, I thought you might want to try it out. It does not come out until later this month. Most of us girls are romantics at heart. Well this is really cute. Here is a marriage proposal at Disneyland that is really something.
