I Have An Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Obsession! Learn How To Makeover Furniture In Your Home For Next To Nothing With Chalk Paint!

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is amazing.

You can take an old piece of furniture that just does not fit with today's styles and transform it into an amazing piece you could pay $3500 for at Ethan Allen.

Painted furniture, rustic furniture, Shabby chippy furniture, French Cottage, you name it.  Whatever your style, you can recreate it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

First thing you need to do is find a stockist.  That is a person who carries the Annie Sloan Paint and does classes and can share valuable information on how you can transform your furniture.

If you are like me and want the style of all the top home decorators but have the budget of a mom with three boys--two of which will be in college next year, you have to think out of the box.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is about as out of the box as I am going to get.

This is why Annie Sloan paints are amazing;

1) Rarely do you need to sand anything down  (If there is a little too much shine then softly sand)

2)  The paint goes amazingly far.  You buy a quart of their paint and it can literally be enough to do a King Size Bedroom set complete with headboard, footboard, two end tables, dresser, armoire and a long dresser and a mirror.  All with one quart of paint.  Amazing!

3)  Flexibility.  The colors are the best I have seen.  I can spot imitation chalk paint a mile away.  Once you see the difference, you will never go back!

4) Anyone can do this!

I will be posting how to videos for those of my readers who want to get started.

Here is a link to find a retailer (stockist) in your area:  You will need to start with at least one quart of Annie Sloan paint.  You can also buy sample sizes which should be enough to do a piece.  You will also want to get "Soft Wax".  You might want "Dark Wax" as well but just know you always have to protect your indoor surface with Soft wax first even if you want to do a dark wax.

Lots of things to check out.  I recommend starting with a book.  Don't get it for a Kindle because you are going to use this book like a workbook and trust me you won't see the details on your kindle.    Be sure to stop by and visit me soon.  I will be posting a before and after of a dresser--and I am almost done!  Wait til you see the difference.  Trust me, if I can do this ANYONE can!!!

You can also find some great Annie Sloan books on Amazon.
