Winn-Dixie has really stepped up their sales since Bi-Lo bought them out. I find that they are more affordable than Publix in many areas. The advantage of shopping at Publix has always been that in addition to using manufacturer coupons, you could also combine a store coupon including competitors like Winn-Dixie, Save-A-Lot and Target.
Well now, Winn-Dixie has changed their policy to allow store competitor coupons in combination with the manufacturer coupons! There are some limitation but they are taking any local stores coupon.
You will need to check your local Winn-Dixie store for their specifics but that is what I was told in Port Charlotte, Florida. I am so excited.
This week there is a $2 off Publix coupon good on any meat purchae and Winn-Dixie has a great sale on meat. (Coupon was in the local Sunday Sarasota paper as well as the local Charlotte Sun) Combined you could get a great deal! I for one will go for the cube steak on sale for $3.99 a pounds. With the coupon, it would be just $1.99 for one pound. Awesome deal!!!!!
