Help Shape Downtown Punta Gorda--Support Pies & Plates Kickstarter Going On Now!

I am one of those people that believes that anything is possible if you only believe.  I like to live in a glass half full world where we have lots of opportunity and possibilities.  I also love to think outside the box.  I guess that is why I love this Pies & Plates Kickstarter so much.

Basically this is it in a nutshell.  Pies & Plates is a highly successful and popular restaurant in Punta Gorda having won numerous awards.  They are well know for their famous Gooey Butter Cakes and all their delicious desserts.  After hurricane Charley happened upon downtown Punta Gorda in August of 2004, things downtown changed forever.  Some buildings were demolished never to return.  It has been a slow process but downtown Punta Gorda is slowly becoming the kind of town we would all be proud of.  It is not quite there and we really need to support places like Pies & Plates that would be offering breakfast & lunch and so much more.  We have some great dinner restaurants but we need a place like this, unique and fun, to meet our friends for a late breakfast or an afternoon outing.
