If you are looking for something fun to do with the family this week or next, get 50% off theater tickets to Cats or Sound of Music at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. (Tampa area)   If you have taken your kids to the local theater but they have not seen a true professional show, this is really something you will want to consider.
