Looking for a house in Punta Gorda, Florida? My house is for sale.

I forgot how much work is involved with putting your house on the market.  Plus getting three teenage boys out of the house with everything perfect is a challenge in itself.  But there are advantages too.  Finally the kids can have their own room and we will have more adult spaces as well.  Can't beat that.  So now all I have to do is sell my house.......  :-)

We actually live in a very nice golf course subdivision called Deep Creek with lots of little lakes and greenbelt areas behind the homes giving you some privacy from the neighbors and the feeling of open spaces.  We love it so much we are only looking to move a few streets over.  Punta Gorda has all kinds of artsy shops and galleries and lots of trendy fun restaurants downtown. You also will enjoy the farmers market downtown every Saturday morning.  You can get great breads, fruits & vegetables, flowers & bakery items there. Then there is Fishermans Village, one of my favorite places to go.  There are many nice restaurants right on the water and really wonderful stores with unique items. There seems to be something going on pretty much every weekend so if festivals or arts & craft sales are your thing, you will certainly enjoy Punta Gorda.

So if you are looking for a nice affordable place to live, check out the Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte Florida area, and maybe my house  @ 25370 Kowloon Lane, Punta Gorda, FL 33983 too.  Plus where else can you get a nice 3 bedroom 2 bath pool home on a cul de sac for less than $200,000?  You even get a 108" motorized movie screen and a DLP projector already set up in the family room for movie nights.

The great thing is we are about 30 minutes from Sarasota and 30 minutes from  Fort Myers, a couple hours from Tampa and 2 1/2 hours from Disney.  So we can pretty much get anywhere we want to go easily by taking I-75 which is close to our subdivision making it the perfect place to commute if you are working in the Sarasota or Fort Myers FL areas.
