Hollister! If you have teens, then this store is one you are probably already familiar with. This is the store you try to get by without going in because you know it is going to drain your pocketbook big time. Not this time! They have a great 70% off sale. This sale is a significant sale. At the store I was in, about half of the mens clothing was on sale. Sorry girls, I have all boys and I spent all my time on that side. (But I did do a sneak peak and there are just as many girls clothes on sale.) Not sure how long this sale is going to last, but I know it is still going on through the weekend.

Macy's has a great sale that ends today. Yesterday I stopped at my local Macy's and I wore red. Wear red and you will save an extra 20% off, even off clearance and sale prices! I spent $23.36 and bought 3 tops. I saved $90.15 on this purchase. Each top ended up costing me less than $8 each including tax!! For those of you who think that Walmart is always the cheapest price, not always so. Don't be afraid to shop the expensive stores. Just know you are going to shop carefully and with purpose. You are not going to plop down $100 for a pair of designer jeans. You are however willing to buy those same jeans for $12. And, trust me, I found designer jeans there for that price yesterday!

If you are lucky enough to have a Cracker Barrel restaurant around, be sure to sign up to be a front porch friend. When you sign up you will get a credit of $5 on a $20 purchase and will have the chance to win lots of stuff. So far we have earned free meal and $5 off a purchase at the grocery store which I just used to purchase 2 loaves of their amazing sourdough bread! I have always loved taking the kids out to eat at Cracker Barrel. Their food is really good and when the kids were little, it was very inexpensive to eat there. They have very affordable kids meals and no age limitation so our kids were able to get kids meals for quite a while. Now of course we are buying 5 adult meals every time we go out so it is not quite as cheap. Still a great place to eat though. :-)
