For my faithful and local followers, I just had to share about this great restaurant. It is very rare for hubby and I to get to go out on a date but that is just what we did last night. We tried out the new Lulu restaurant at the Wyvern hotel in Punta Gorda. If you have not been to visit Lulu yet, here is a good reason to check them out.
From now through the end of February, Lulu is offering buy one entree, get one free from a selected menu. There are coupons circulating in the Clipper magazine that came in the mail but the restaurant does not require a coupon to get this deal. The deal is printed on the special menu. There are many choices to pick from and my hubby says the grilled Salmon was the best he has ever had.
From the beginning of our visit to the end, everything was exquisite. Even a problem with our order was corrected by the waiter effortlessly even before we could have possibly brought it up. The ambiance was elegant and classy, the staff at the restaurant were top notch and the chef is amazing. We will definitely be back! This would be a great place to celebrate a special occasion or have a date night and at this price, now is a great time to see what they are like. For dessert we tried out the mini desserts. I had the mini tart and it was excellent. My husband had the butterscotch shooter that was the chefs homemade butterscotch recipe and he said it was "really good". Thank you Lulu. If you are in the SW Florida area, I would certainly recommend their restaurant. All in all, it was a fairly affordable and wonderful evening and certainly a treat for me!
