DISNEY ORLANDO DEALS AT THE NICK HOTEL! BOOK BY 1/31 & DON'T FORGET TO VOLUNTEER AND GET FREE DISNEY TICKETS FOR THE FAMILY!

Planning a trip to the Orlando area?  No trip is complete without a stop at the Nickelodeon hotel.  If you have kids and have not been there, I dare say you have not lived.  Well maybe....   Anyway, if you have kids.  I means little ones, tweens, teens and gosh darn it, even adults, the Nick Hotel is the place to be.

If you are like me, watching every penny, Orlando does not come off as the cheapest place to go.  Once you add in Disney World and SeaWorld and Universal it gets really pricy.  So here is a great alternative.

The Nick hotel has so much stuff to do, you don't even need to leave the resort!  Now that makes for a great family weekend with lots of memories.  If you have a larger family, maybe you have the same problem we do.  I have three boys, all teenagers and taller than me mind you, and my hubby and me.  We clearly can't fit into a standard hotel room so the choices are two rooms, not happening, (I mean what do we do, my hubby in one room and me in another and split up the kids??) or find a condo which tends to be more expensive.

Well, Nick hotel has some great room sizes including a  2 bedroom unit that includes a bunk area set up with a tv and video games and the master bedroom area as well as a living space which includes a fridge and a microwave to save a few bucks on meals.  Normally the Nick Hotel is kind of pricy, but right now the Nick Hotel is offering a great deal for all of its Facebook members, simply use code FACEBOOK to get a 2 bedroom unit for only $89 a night.  You must book it by 1/31 to get the price.  Trust me, this is a great deal!!!

At the Nick hotel they have an amazing array of waterslides.  I mean amazing.  You will have to see the pics on this one as I cannot do it justice.  And, there are activities inside the resort as well.  Shows and video games and lots of fun as well as restaurants on property.

Pair this with the free Disney ticket for volunteering one day and you have a pretty cheap trip!  (Anybody 6 or older can participate and get a free ticket for volunteering)  We just completed our volunteering.  Our family was able to make dog toys from home and drop them off.  It was a great family activity and some shelter dogs are really going to enjoy the toys we made.  It took us 2 nights to make just over 50 toys and some fabric from the fabric store, but they turned out great.  Plus now we know how to make these toys for our dog as well.
