I found a great deal on my sons announcements.  Total cost for 50 customized announcements with his photo and envelopes, just $14!  There were cheaper options that could have been much less, but I really like this design and you only graduate from high school once.  The cost to buy the announcements through the school, over $100 for 25.  I still have to order the thank you cards and his place cards but I expect to spend less than $30 for all which is a significant savings. 


Maybe you are like me, and have a child graduating from high school in 2010.  I have been overwhelmed by all of the costs involved in graduation from high school.  There are all these packages and each of them is so expensive.  They include everything my son wants of course...  So you are supposed to pick a package, the one my son wants is $285 I believe.  This includes his yearbook and going to grad nite at Walt Disney World and I believe his cap and gown.  Then you need to purchase the senior photos and hopefully your child has already purchased their class ring or that is another expense.  Now for the senior pictures, I am not sure if all schools handle this the same way.  Basically if your child is going to have their photo in the yearbook, you have to get your picture taken by the photographer the school has chosen.  You pay a sitting fee for the photos and then you can pick one of their packages which will give you a limited amount of photos for about $300 after the sitting fee.  I don't know about you, but there is no way I can swing that amount.  So this is what I did instead.  I paid the sitting fee for the photographer in the school and had his photos taken.  This allowed him to have his photo in the year book.  Then, I found a local photographer at a better price.


I was able to find a fantastic photographer who is offering a great special for only $75  for graduating seniors.  If you are in Sarasota, Charlotte, Desoto or Lee counties in Florida with a graduating senior, give her a call before the deal ends!

Print as many photos as you want and use photos for personalized items and graduation announcements.  If you are in SW Florida, keep the name of this photographer if you need senior photos, family photos, anniversary photos,  wedding photos or family reunions.  The best thing is that they will go on location.  If there is a favorite spot, have your photos taken there.  We had our photos done at Stump Pass in Englewood, FL.  Amazing place to have pictures done.  My husband and I were very impressed with the quality of their photos.  Our soon to be graduating son is autistic and we were very concerned about how he would get along with the photographer.  She made it very easy for him which was a big relief for us.
