Save 75% at CVS on the new Monsters vs Aliens DVD!

Sorry I am running late with my blog today. One of my three sons has a probable case of Mono and things have just been a bit crazy trying to figure out how to handle school work and missing 6 weeks of school. I did manage to make a quick trip to CVS. This is what I did.

3 Tide 50 ounce @ $6 each (3-$1 coupons)
3 Dawn dish detergent @ $1 each ($1.25 in coupons combined)
1 Tide stain release @ $4 ($1.50 coupon)
3 Sprite Zero @ $3.66 each
2 bags Hersheys Halloween Candy 26.7 ounce sale $5 each
1 Monsters vs Aliens DVD @ $19.99 less $15.00 discount = $5

I spent $33.22 before tax and I received $11.00 in extra bucks for my next purchase making my total cost $22.22. Considering the movie alone is $19.99 at Walmart, not too shabby!! Ten dollars of the extra bucks I received were for buying $25 of select P&G products. (Tide, Tide stain release & Dawn dish detergent)  This sale is good through Saturday, October 3rd.  Test your flu IQ and get a coupon for $5 off your next $25 purchase.

All together I had $32.75 in coupons not including sale prices. My CVS receipt says I saved $58.65 today. The Monsters vs Aliens movie is $19.99 but if you spend $20 on select Coke products and Hersheys Halloween candy, you get an extra $15 on the movie making it a great deal. With halloween approaching, the Hershey candy deal for $5 is great. The kids are thrilled with this movie and can't wait to watch it. I know what we will be doing this weekend. :-) Sorry no picture.
