The H1N1 swine flu virus is pretty much everywhere at this point, at least in Florida where I live.  My youngest who has asthma and is an ECMO survivor from lung complications from birth has been sick for almost a month now.  He went to see an infectious disease specialist and a pulmonary specialist and now has an appointment for a cardiac consult.  In the back of my mind, I still think this is the swine flu but his test came back negative.  I mention this because there is now some new information. Here is the link to the article from the associated press if you are interested.  The article is about  H1N1 flu causes unusual damage to lungs.  Basically if you or anyone of your friends or family are still sick and they told you it is not swine flu, you might want to make sure you are following the recommendations.

This is especially true if you have children with asthma or other chronic conditions.   This is one of those things that keeps developing and all we can do is try to stay on top of it.  The sad thing is they found this out by an autopsy of a middle aged man who tested negative for the swine flu but ultimately died from it.  He had unusual findings on his CT scan.  I feel bad for his family but I do hope they know his death will ulitmately save others lives.  So be safe and buy lots of lysol and hand sanitizer.and if you happen to have a child with asthma or other chronic condition that is still fighting something, check this out.  :-)  Okay, enough of the serious stuff.  Now for the sales!!
